Michele left the stunning scenery, food and wine of his hometown of Ischia, Northern Italy, for Australia – a country he now proudly calls home. A trained chef with 18 years experience, Michele worked as a pastry and sous chef before moving into managerial roles. Career highlights have included cooking for Pope John Paul II, making him a 100kg cake with puff pastry, custard and wild strawberries, and serving finger food to Prince Charles. Michele’s role at Visco is primarily to promote the brand and help it grow in Brisbane.
